What is the Preposition
A Preposition is a word placed before a noun or a pronoun to indicate direction, place, method etc. In other words, the noun or pronoun is show in what relation the person or thing denoted by it stand in regard to something else.
Example : The cat jumped off the wall.
The pencil lies on the table.
Kind of Preposition
1) Simple Preposition: At, by, in, for, out, from, with, up, till, through, etc.
2) Compound Preposition: Accross, before, around, among, about, amongst, without, beside, behind, without, within, beyond, etc.
3) Phrase Preposition: According to, in spite of, along with, away from, by way of, in case of, in order to, etc.
